Dance not only teaches technique, but gives a child the opportunity to learn in a group setting, develop a positive self-image, build friendships and work as a part of a team while developing a strong work ethic, poise, discipline, and performance ability. Dance teaches children life lessons through a creative art form that gives children focus and enhances passion. Finding a passion early in life gives ones life direction and leads children to be goal setting, high achieving individuals as well as role models for their peers. The Southern Dance offers recreational and competitive level programs for ages 3 and up in all genres of dance and related art forms.
